The Calmer Canines Club with Stephie

Practical, Trauma-Informed Support for Sensitive and Anxious Dogs

You love your dog, and I'm sure that when I meet them I'll love them too! But right now, do some days feel heavier than they should?
  • Are you managing barking, hypervigilance, reactivity?
  • Does your dog struggle to settle, panic or shut down when left alone?
Maybe you've tried classes, watched videos, followed advice...and life with your dog is still a struggle.

If that's you, I have good news! The Calmer Canines Club exists for people like you living with dogs like yours.

There are no quick fixes, we're not here for obedience at any cost, and we're absolutely not going to “just ignore it and carry on.”

This is ongoing, structured, thoughtful support for caregivers who want to understand what is really happening in their dog’s nervous system, and how to create workable calm at home and beyond.
Inside the Calmer Canines Club you’ll begin to notice:
  • Your dog settles more easily in the evenings.
  • Walks feel more predictable, even when there are triggers.
  • You understand what their body language is telling you before things escalate.
  • You have a supportive community of people who truly understand your journey.
  • Visitors can arrive without chaos.
  •  You feel steadier, clearer, and more confident in your decisions.
Small shifts like these can change daily life more than you might expect, and this is exactly what’s possible inside the Calmer Canines Club.

Not chasing "perfect behaviour" or a silent dog, but steadiness and regulation. A dog who feels safer in their world, and a caregiver who knows how to support that.

What Makes This Different
The Club is built around trauma-informed, ACE-based, science-informed practice.

 We look at:

  • Nervous system regulation
  •  Emotional safety
  • Pain and physical comfort
  • Environment and daily rhythms
  • Attachment and co-regulation
  • Realistic, sustainable change in daily life

We do not push dogs beyond capacity, we do not measure success by endurance.

We work with readiness.

This is the same framework I teach professionals inside The SAfe Pro Course.  You are not getting generic tips. You are getting depth, translated clearly for everyday life.

Why I Can Help: My Story
I know how lonely and frustrating it can feel when your dog is struggling.

Years ago, I was in your shoes, desperate to help a dog who couldn’t cope with the world. I tried everything the ‘experts’ recommended, but nothing seemed to work. It wasn’t until I shifted my focus from just ‘training’ to truly understanding my dog’s emotions, environment, and well-being that everything changed. Since then, I’ve helped countless caregivers and professionals do the same - turning stress into understanding, fear into trust, and frustration into progress.

As a trauma-informed pet professional, and a Separation Anxiety and Romanian Rescue expert, I bring science-backed, compassionate strategies that work. Not just for today, but for the long term.

What You Receive as a Member
This isn’t just another dog training group. It’s a holistic support system designed to help you rebuild trust, reduce stress, and create a calmer, more connected life with your dog.

Inside, you’ll get:

  •  2 x Monthly Live Meetings: Expert-led discussions with actionable steps to help your dog feel safer and more secure. This is real-time teaching and Q and A. You can bring your actual questions, your actual dog, your real situations. These are practical sessions. We look at examples, patterns, and next steps.
  • Full Archive Access: Over three years of recordings covering Fireworks and seasonal stress,  Body language and early warning signs,  Daily cycles and cortisol patterns,  Separation distress,  Sound sensitivity,  Visitor challenges,  Over-arousal and evening intensity,  Pain awareness and behaviour and so much more. You can revisit topics whenever you need them.
  • A Private, Supportive Community A private space where members share observations, reflections, and progress.  No judgement, no blame, just thoughtful discussion and shared learning.  Many members say this part alone changes everything, because they no longer feel isolated.

Who This Is NOT For
This club is an incredible resource for those looking for compassionate, long-term support. But it’s not for everyone.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You are looking for quick obedience solutions
  • You want guaranteed timelines
  • You prefer correction-based methods
  • You're not open to reflecting on environment, lifestyle, or your own role in co-regulation

The Club is about building safety and workable calm. That takes attention and consistency.
